Sunday, August 12 - Another sticky, warm and overcast morning in North Stonington, but I'd gotten all the chores at the house done...so out the door at 10 for a 5.5 mile run, at a hair under a 9 minute pace, nice and easy and even stopped to take a picture of the waterfall at Spalding Pond:
Felt pretty good in my new running shoes, picked up yesterday at the New Balance store (that's a long story...). Had to get a new pair and get comfortable with them, so today's run was a bit more tentative than I would have liked, but glad I got out!
