Today was my scheduled lay day for running, and my nephew called last night and asked if we could surf...so we met at my house at 6 a.m. Nice and cool this morning and not nearly as humid, so we took the van and drove down to Matunuck, where we were greeted with nice waist-high waves, perfect for longboarding...surfed for three hours, got a great workout and headed back to the house.

Going to shoot for the Stonington Borough fun run tomorrow, I think I even talked my nephew Tristan into running it...
